'Carpe Diem'

I can remember a previous post I made where I said that next time I would write an additional something or other. I never did, did you notice? I think I did that more than once! Shame on me!

Over the past two or three weeks I have had a couple of conversations with the Lord, I thought to myself 'I should put that on my blog page it has blessed me so much'. Did you see them? Absolutely not, because I didn't put them up!

Too busy, too much to do, no organisation, no discipline, too many interruptions and on and on we go with the excuses. Truth is, it wasn't done and now I can hardly remember what God said.

God who created the earth, God who reigns at the right hand side of His Father in heaven, even as I sit here writing, God supreme and sovereign! How can I slide over His mighty and gracious dealings with me so quickly?

But we do, what will be His response to us on that glorious day when we meet Him, face to face. Will He remember the time we wasted, I wasted? I'd rather not wait to find out, hence 'Carpe Diem' - 'Sieze the moment'!

What was that thing He said to do? Do it!
Where was that place He urged you towards? Go there!
What was that Word He whispered in your ear? Then take heed, obey it, bless the Lord for it and then go share it with you brothers and sisters, that they might be encouraged too!

Psalm 90:12  'So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom'.
